Well, we have been engaged for about three weeks and things have already been hectic! It has been a lot of fun, but a little bit stressful in the process. The big day will be Friday, August 28, 2009! It seems like so far away, but I know time will fly by, with all of the things we have to do! I wanted to start this blog to keep track of everything over the next year!
Right now, we are trying to pick out a venue for our ceremony and reception, and I think we have a winner!!! We are leaning towards the Bethwood in Totowa, NJ. The Bethwood has beautiful outdoor gardens where we can have our ceremony and take pictures. The rooms are a decent size for our guest list, and the price is right! I may go look at one or two more places early this week, but I think the Bethwood will be the winner! I hope to book it by the end of this week, so we don't loose our date there! I can't wait until we booked the venue, so I can start doing other things!
The next thing I can't wait to go dress shopping. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, we can go and look because this is the main thing that I am looking forward to in all of this planning!
